Counselling from my therapy cabin, in the countryside near Tring.

I offer short and long-term counselling and psychotherapy, and I can support you in exploration of issues you may be experiencing, such as anxiety, stress or depression. Perhaps you are feeling the stress of a busy life, or challenging family/relationship dynamics. Maybe you just need a space to sit and be heard.
We may explore neurodiversity – I can offer you support and help you to manage challenges such as high sensitivity, sensory overload, social anxiety, burnout and emotional dysregulation.
I have experience working as a volunteer supporting survivors of sexual abuse – I can offer support for trauma, sexual abuse, childhood/historic abuse and domestic abuse.
I offer you an initial phone call to talk through what you are looking for in counselling, so we may both get a sense of if we are a good fit, and you can ask any questions you might have. I encourage you to trust your instinct in choosing me as your counsellor – the relationship between us is at the heart of the work.
I also provide support for parents of children struggling to attend school, sometimes called EBSA/EBSNA (Emotionally based school avoidance/non-attendance) please click here for more information.

I was nervous about letting myself be vulnerable but Sarah immediately put me at ease and I felt that the environment of her room and her warm and calm personality created the ultimate safe space. Sarah guided me through with gentleness and empathy, enabling me to unlock issues that had been weighing me down for my whole life. Something shifted deep inside and Sarah helped me identify and leave these issues in the past as a benign memory, setting me free.
